Privacy Policy

PrimoReco is a movie and TV recommendation app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep data collection deliberately minimal.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address and first name, only if you choose to sign in. You can use the core app as a guest without an account.
• Your taste data: films you save, mark as watched, rate, your streaming-service preferences, and taste-calibration responses — so the recommendations get more personal.
• Basic technical data: standard request logs needed to operate and secure the service.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or device identifiers for advertising.
• No password is stored — sign-in is a one-time email code or Sign in with Apple.

How we use your data

We use your account and taste data solely to provide the app's features: authenticating you, saving your library, and generating recommendations. We do not use it for advertising or profiling beyond the recommendation engine.

Where your data lives

Account and taste data are stored with our database and authentication provider (Supabase). Film metadata, posters, and where-to-watch data come from third parties (TMDB, JustWatch, Wikidata) and are not personal to you.

Your choices

• Use the app as a guest, without an account.
• Sign out at any time from Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings — this permanently erases your email and everything the model has learned about you.

Children

PrimoReco is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
